Getting Started

The fastest way to protect your household is the free guided setup at cyberdaddy.app/app. It walks you through every device type — iPhone, Android, Windows, PS5, Roku, router — step by step. No account required to start.

DNS Profile & Content Blocker

What is the DNS profile? CyberDaddy configures a DNS filtering profile on your child's device that blocks adult content, malware, and other inappropriate categories at the network level — before pages load.

What is the Safari Content Blocker? The iOS app includes a built-in Safari Content Blocker extension that applies an additional layer of URL-based filtering inside Safari. It works immediately after installation — no sign-in required — using a bundled rule set that is updated automatically in the background.

My child's device shows content is being filtered, but something slipped through. No filter is 100% complete. DNS filtering covers the vast majority of harmful domains. If you find a domain that should be blocked, email us at support@cyberdaddy.app and we'll add it to our review queue.

The DNS profile was removed from the device. On an unsupervised iOS device, a child can remove a DNS configuration profile. The setup guide covers how to use Apple Configurator to put the device in supervised mode, which makes the profile non-removable.

Account & Sign-In

How do I sign in? CyberDaddy uses magic links — enter your email address and we'll send you a secure sign-in link. No password to remember.

I didn't receive the sign-in email. Check your spam or junk folder. The email comes from setup@cyberdaddy.app. If it's not there after a minute, try requesting a new link. If you're still not receiving it, email us and we'll investigate.

My sign-in link says it's expired or already used. Magic links are single-use and expire after 15 minutes. Simply request a new one from the login screen.

I want to delete my account and all data. Email support@cyberdaddy.app with the subject "Delete my account" and we'll remove your data within 30 days.

Plans & Billing

Is the guided setup really free? Yes. The guided setup at /app/ is free for every household, always. It covers every major device platform with no account required.

What does Pro include? CyberDaddy Pro adds live family protection analytics, recent domain activity and protection signals, and family-wide access across supported devices.

How do I cancel? If you subscribed in the iOS app, open CyberDaddy Pro and tap Manage Apple Subscription, or manage the subscription from your Apple Account settings. If you subscribed on the web, use Manage Billing in your CyberDaddy dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

I was charged but can't access Pro features. Email support@cyberdaddy.app with your account email and we'll resolve it promptly.

How do refunds work? Apple handles refund requests for purchases made through the App Store; visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request one. For web purchases, or if you are unsure where you subscribed, email support@cyberdaddy.app and include your account email.

iOS App

Where do I find the iOS app? CyberDaddy is available on the App Store: Download CyberDaddy for iPhone and iPad.

The app asks for Family Controls permission. CyberDaddy uses Apple's Family Controls framework for child monitoring. This requires a one-time authorization from the parent's device. The app will walk you through it.

The content blocker isn't filtering in Safari. Go to iPhone Settings → Safari → Extensions and make sure CyberDaddy is enabled. It may also need to be set to "Allow All" within the extension settings.
