Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the CyberDaddy website, guided setup experience, account dashboard, iOS app, and any free, paid, preview, or beta features we make available. By accessing or using CyberDaddy, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Who May Use CyberDaddy
CyberDaddy is intended for adults. By using CyberDaddy, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that you are a parent, guardian, or other adult with lawful authority to manage the devices, accounts, network settings, and information you connect to the service.
If you provide information about a child, household member, or device, you represent that you have the right to do so and to authorize CyberDaddy to process that information for the purpose of providing the service.
Service Description
CyberDaddy offers a mix of public, account-based, and optional paid features, including:
- Public website content, guides, and educational materials for parents
- A free guided setup flow covering supported devices and platforms
- An iOS app with Safari filtering, guided DNS setup, and Screen Time status checks
- A family dashboard with protection status, controls, and optional CyberDaddy Pro analytics
- Preview or beta capabilities that are clearly identified as pre-release
Features may change over time. Preview or beta capabilities may be incomplete, unavailable, or withdrawn without notice.
Parental Controls and Beta Features
Features identified as preview or beta may contain bugs, outages, incomplete functionality, inaccurate displays, or data inconsistencies. We may change, suspend, or end access to those pre-release features at any time.
CyberDaddy is not a guarantee of child safety or complete enforcement. The service may help parents configure and monitor protections, but it does not guarantee that every site, app, bypass method, VPN, proxy, device change, or account change will be detected, blocked, or reported.
You remain responsible for supervising your household, confirming settings on your devices, and deciding whether the service is appropriate for your family.
Accounts, Invites, and Security
If we provide you with an account, invite link, credential, or administrative control, you must keep it secure and may not share it except as expressly permitted by CyberDaddy. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your access credentials.
You must notify us promptly if you believe your account, invite, or connected provider credentials have been compromised.
Connected Services and Permissions
Certain features may require you to connect third-party services, such as a DNS filtering provider account, or to provide configuration details, API credentials, or device setup information. You authorize CyberDaddy to use that information solely to provide the requested functionality.
You remain responsible for your relationship with any third-party provider, including compliance with that provider’s own terms, permissions, and account requirements.
Subscriptions and Billing
CyberDaddy provides free controls and may offer optional paid features, including CyberDaddy Pro. The available plan, price, duration, trial terms, renewal terms, and included features are shown before purchase.
Auto-renewable subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are processed by Apple. They renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Trial eligibility, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds for those purchases are administered by Apple. You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription from your Apple Account subscription settings.
Your use of the CyberDaddy iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Terms of Use). That standard EULA applies in addition to these service terms and controls to the extent required for the license to the iOS app.
If you purchase a CyberDaddy service through another supported purchase channel, that channel’s displayed payment and cancellation terms apply. Access to paid features may require signing in to the same CyberDaddy account used with the purchase.
Acceptable Use
You may not use CyberDaddy to:
- Violate any law or another person’s rights
- Access devices, accounts, or data without authorization
- Interfere with, probe, or attack the security or availability of the service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where the law clearly permits it
- Use the service to stalk, surveil, harass, or monitor another person unlawfully
- Upload malware, harmful code, or misleading data
Feedback and Suggestions
If you send CyberDaddy feedback, feature requests, bug reports, ideas, or suggestions, you grant CyberDaddy LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and incorporate that feedback into the service without compensation or attribution to you.
Confidentiality of Non-Public Preview Materials
Non-public preview materials — such as invite links, internal screenshots clearly marked or shared as private, unpublished documentation, credentials, admin pages, or security-sensitive implementation details — are confidential and may not be shared without our permission.
However, nothing in these terms is intended to prohibit or restrict your ability to share your honest opinions, reviews, or experiences with CyberDaddy, or to report unlawful conduct. This confidentiality section does not authorize disclosure of passwords, API keys, private personal information, or trade-secret-level technical details.
Intellectual Property
CyberDaddy, the CyberDaddy name, logo, branding, guides, software, text, graphics, interfaces, and other content are owned by CyberDaddy LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for personal, non-commercial household use. No other rights are granted.
Third-Party Services and Links
CyberDaddy may rely on or link to third-party services and websites. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, terms, uptime, privacy practices, or actions.
Suspension or Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these terms, created risk for CyberDaddy or other users, or if we discontinue all or part of the service.
You may stop using CyberDaddy at any time.
Guide and Setup Disclaimer
CyberDaddy’s guides, setup flows, recommendations, and technical content are provided for informational purposes only. Device makers and platform operators may change settings, menus, APIs, controls, or behavior at any time. Steps may differ by model, operating system version, region, or provider.
No parental-control solution is perfect, and no guide or configuration can guarantee that a determined child or other user will not find a workaround.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CyberDaddy is provided “as is” and “as available.” CyberDaddy LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CyberDaddy LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, profits, revenue, or business opportunity arising out of or related to your use of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CyberDaddy LLC’s total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid CyberDaddy for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability, or (b) $100 USD.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Your continued use of CyberDaddy after the updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms.
